Dominican writer Junot Diaz is the author of The Brief and Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao, which won him a Pulitzer Prize, and of the short story collection This Is How You Lose Her. We met up with Junot at the busy Housing Works bookshop in Manhattan to talk about the themes and difficult characters in his work.
