Big show coming up for The Book Show:
We’re bringing together a great group of women for readings from Irish women’s literature, plays, history, diaries and journals to build on the spirit and momentum inspired by the #readwomen and #wakingthefeminists initiatives.
For the third year running The Book Show marks International Women’s Day (8th March) through literature. As well as readings, there will be music and songs in a celebration of women’s voices past and present.
This stage show will be recorded for RTÉ Radio 1 for later broadcast and will be hosted by The Book Show’s presenter Sinéad Gleeson.
